Ballville Township Receives Donation Toward New Park

Ballville Township trustees received a $100,000 donation toward a new park, recreation facility and community center in Fremont from Kinder Morgan Nov. 9.

The Township plans to break ground on the new park in spring of 2016, with a vision including walking trails, wetland ponds and a wildlife sanctuary. Additional funding from the donation will expand the scope of the project to build a community center for residents.

“This generous gift from Kinder Morgan will help us continue to improve the quality of life for our residents,” said Ballville Township Trustee Bob Kusmer.
