Clyde-Green Springs School District Receives Major Gift

Clyde-Green Springs Exempted Village School District located in portions of Seneca and Sandusky Counties, Ohio received a major gift from Kinder Morgan, developer of the Utopia Pipeline Project, to support the district’s athletic programs and facilities. The partnership will include an $80,000 donation from Kinder Morgan to the school district. Kinder Morgan’s Allen Fore presented the donation to Superintendent Dennis Haft, School Board President Matthew Nicely, School Board members, faculty and student athletics.

“We are pleased that Kinder Morgan has provided this generous gift to support our school district,” said Clyde-Green Springs Superintendent Dennis Haft.  “Thanks to Kinder Morgan’s donation, our school district’s athletic facilities will benefit greatly with the numerous improvements we have planned.”

Clyde High School plans to purchase new scoreboards, install a new weight room floor, and make other aesthetic improvements to its facilities.  All of the additional schools in the district will receive some funding to use at their discretion.
